Jenny Sullivan obituary (1948 – 2022) We were saddened to hear of the death of Volunteer Jenny Sullivan in December last year. She was based in Fife and first joined us as a Hearing Support Services volunteer at the audiology department in Edinburgh just before lockdown.
Services update January 2023: research opportunities Thanks to everyone who responded to a research request from Imperial College London recently. One of our partnerships in the west of England is looking for a sign language teacher to deliver classes online.
Services update January 2023: Helpdesk, LiveChat and Helpful Hours Enquirers for the Helpdesk and LiveChat continue to get in touch in significant numbers. Thanks to the five volunteers who are developing a pilot version of the Helpful Hours service.
Services update January 2023: LinkUps and Hearing Support Sessions Four LinkUp group dates are now agreed for early 2023, with Advisors in the Central Support Team managing the bookings and promoting internally. Hearing support sessions continue in Edinburgh and London.
